Dear F-List,

I feel much better having gotten some sleep. I hope this high-energy continues through-out the day and into the night. I also hope that the sleepy-fog currently inhabbiting my brain will lift as the sun comes up. :-)

Things to do today include:

Laundry (I need clean socks) (currently in the dryer)

Dishes (typical)

Buy milk (also typical -- I go through a lot more of that stuff when I'm unemployed. This is not a good state of affairs, but there you go. At least it means the milk never goes bad on me) and possibly mushrooms and/or greens.

Buy tofu and sesame oil from the Kowloon Market

Figure out what to serve for dinner -- probably will include that lovely mushroom risoto that Commodorified posted last night. Or something similar there-to. (May mix in a tofu-cream-cheese like substance to add to the Yum and up the protein content). Good thing I have a deep frying pan. :-) Made tempeh w/ mushrooms, broccoli and squash along with rice. So, yeah. More or less. ;-)

Make pearl-and-iolite necklace for my Grandmother (it will be a simple, classic affair -- not very long, with a magnetic clasp -- seven pearls / iolite ball / seven pearls / iolite ball, etc. At least that's the plan. :-) (I hope I have enough pearls...)
I'll have to see if I can find boxes for all of this stuff -- Nana's getting the necklace plus a pair of clip-on earrings (not home-made) and Papa's getting an elegant grey scarf, plus I'm sending them (finally!) a CD of my choir, singing beautifully.

Decide which Apocalyptica music to burn for my mom's BF's xmas present (hehehe... stealth metal... ;-) I currently have just over twenty songs sellected. I'll whittle this down to about sixteen, I think. (Probably by culling some of the stuff off of "Cult" and maybe just not bothering with the stuff from "Worlds Collide").

Have a hot bath, do my nails and shower.

Read poetry (Rhonda Douglas! Whee! :-) It was good. I've read better, but there are some wonderful ones in there. :-)

See my Sara! :-D YAY! :-D

On that note: Today is Not Your Grandma's Craft Sale. It's at Jack Purcell. If you've *got* $2 handy, you should go and check it out. :-)

Anyway. With all that said, I need to go and do stuff, so:

- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)
