So.

I've been unemployed for the last 24 days. Technically 26, but I'm not too worried about counting that final weekend in November.

This sucks a lot of ass.

I really don't want to go back to retail.

Largely because it doesn't pay enough to live on. At all. Ever. Certainly not when one is in an apartment that's too full of furniture to sub-divide effective and take on a room-mate (and even then).
Besides.
I don't want a room-mate. (Some exceptions, I know, may apply. But they're the kind who share my bed frequently and know how to cook. And even then... I'm really leary of rooming with someone I care about *purely* out of economic necessity. It makes it hard(er) to work things out - for me at least - when I (litterally) can't afford to risk the other person leaving).

I *would* consider working 2-3 evenings a week (9-10 hours) in a book store, or what-have you, as a way of suplimenting a reliable living wage and re-building my savings account. That I could do (assuming anyone would hire me - less likely, apparently, the way things are going).

Anyway. That's what I've been thinking about.
If you don't have an account you can create one now.
