A Meme of Sorts:
Five things Torrain associates with me (and my elaboration there-upon):
1. Height
6'4".
I'm not entirely sure how to elaborate beyond that. I mean, I can yammer about femininity and how my society tends to be not-that-subtle in telling people who are built outside the scale of "acceptable gender norms" (E.G.: Feminine = small in just about every way, as any gal with a shoe- or dress-size bigger than about 10, or a bra-size above a D-cup (or below an A-cup) will tell you) aren't supposed to exist.
But ya'll have heard that before.
2. Salons (not the beauty kind)
I suspect this is a reference to my WW parties. I kept having these elaborate fantasies wherein I would open my house to an exclusive guest-list of Fabulously Creative Feminist Women Who, Incidentally, Are Gorgeous.
And then I realized that all of my dearest women friends fit into that category. So I said "Screw this, I'm throwing a party!"
I've had about four of these now and will eventually be having a fifth. Don't actually know when, though. <*plotplotplot*>
3. Photography as art
Really? Cool! :-)
Photography as art is... playing with light, basically. It's fun, but I tend to prefer to be in front of the camera. (I'm narcisistic like that). I also like playing with fantasy themes, but that's me. :-)
4. Swans
Er... Okay? Well... I do like the water. :-D
5. Heirlooms
I have lots. It's a great way to get antiques for free! ;-) It's nice when your stuff comes with stories instead of one of those key-tool things. ;-) I am particularly fond of my Snail Table (from my paternal grandmother). It is cool. :-D
