Perhaps you've seen the neon-pink posters up around town, or maybe you saw the article in Capital Xtra[1], or Jessica Ruano's interview about VoV on local arts-and-culture blog Apartment613[2].

Perhaps you've just heard me yammering endlessly about my favourite monthly spoken word event and are wondering what all the fuss is about.

Either way: Come out tonight to our pay-what-you-can[3] women's open mic. Gals, if you sign up to perform, you get in for free. And if you don't sign up to perform, you'll still be in for an evening of wicked-cool slam poetry, erotica, and the work of Ottawa's feminine creative force.

So come one, come all to the greatest show on earth Voices of Venus, tonight at Umi Cafe[4]. Sign-up sheet goes up at 7pm, and the show starts at 8pm. :-D
