:-D
Would anyone be interested in seeing "Dracula: Pages from a Virgin's Diary" with me on Sunday night? --> 8:30pm @ the Bytown. :-) Any takers? :-)
I'm starting (or in this case, continuing) another book today: "Children of the Night".
It's an ethnography on vampires. (Are you noticing a theme here? ;-) So far it has proved to be very cool. :-)
The theory is that vampirism is a "cultural disease" sort of like the kind of "soul loss" diseases that some cultures have. (Like them in that the disease is actually social/cultural rather than biological in nature --> some of these diseases result from not having mourned a dead relative properly, for instance).
I think it's a very cool theory. :-)
There are interviews and everything!
Anthropology is so cool!!! :-D
- Nam'ara,
- Amazon. :-)
