I have been to two birthday parties this weekend.

Kieran's birthday was nice. :-) And he liked the "Pirates and Brigands of Canada" book that I got him. :-) Yay! :-)

He was saying "Arrr" and bouncing (and giggling) after opening it, so I think that's a good sign. :-) (Admittedly, he also got other Pirate-related stuff, which probably had something to do with it. ;-)


Colleen's birthday was also nice. (And, at this point, is probably still in progress -- I left early due to my typical tendency towards exhaustion + the showing of scary creepy movies which freak me out).

Sadly, while she liked her present, she already had it. :-(
However, there will be some book-exchanging going on for her as soon as I can give her the receipt. :-) So it's not all bad. :-)

I spent last night with my Young Man. :-)
It has now been over 6 months (only by a few days, though), and we're still in Love. :-) <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 :-)
I am happy. :-) Yay! :-)
