Let's make that *very* cold. My feet (which are bare, and that would explain it) are feeling seriously icy. I think I'm going to put on some good thick socks.

I generally don't post these things, but I thought this was neat, so I figured I'd try to show everybody. (Knowing me, I won't actually copy-paste it properly, and there will only be a big heap of unfinished code for you all to see).

Currently reading:
1) "White Rose, Black Thorn" (fairy tales with the blood put back in, written for adults -- currently on Storm Constantine's "Sweet Bruising Skin", which is based on "The Princess and the Pea").
2) "Job: A Comedy of Justice". (Heinlein, for those who don't know)

Having only read one-and-a-bit Heinlein books, chances are good that my data is incomplete. However: Is it just me, or does Heilein have a bad habit (sp) of embracing nakedness (particularly naked women) in an insidiously sexual way.
As in: On the surface, he is saying that the human body is a perfectly acceptable thing which is not dirty or evil and therefore does not have to be covered up, but that surface seems (to me) to be only a very thin veil for the suggestion that by not covering it up, the body in question is being put on display in order to titilate (sp) the people who may take notice of it.

Thoughts? Comments? (I'd love to hear what Bronwyn has to say about this -- I'll have to bug her at the birthday party).

Note: Spider Robbinson, being extremely heavily influenced by Heinlein, also does this -- But at least he has the good grace to set his stories in Lady Sally's House. ;-)
