Greetings all.

I am no-longer sick.

Yay!!! :-D

Yick. I got some stomach Thing on Thursday night and finally was able to eat solid food (including icecream!!!) without pain or problems! :-D

I am so absurdly (sp) happy about this.

Oo! And my new Heather Dale CD "The Road to Santiago" *just* arrived! Whee! :-D It's faboo! :-D

In other news: My tulips came up. I also made new curtains for the bedroom (they are currently closed in an attempt to do some Passive Solar on the upper floors -- we'll see how that goes).

I think I'm going to try sheet-mulching the parts of my back-yard that are not yet cleared. I'll have to get ahold of a whole lot of newprint, though. Ah, well. Not like there isn't tonnes of that around. ;-)
I want to be able to put down some blue Hostas this year. Who knows if I'll be able to find any, though. ;-) But I've got some shade-loving wild flower seeds, and some Perpetual Pea climbing vines that I'm going to grow up threads that are tied to a hanging-plant hook.

I just learned how to make a really sturdy squash trellis out of pvc piping and wire-mesh fencing. It's not too tricky. Yay! :-)
Won't be doing that this year, though. :-)

I think for my corn, I'm going to plant sardines with each of them. (Or, perhaps, tuna...).

The weekend of the 28th (or even the 4th or June), I think I'm going to hit the Market and get a bunch of little, already-sprouted Perenials.

I'm going to my friend Shelley's birthday party on Saturday -- She wants everyone to come in Period Costume (if possible), so I'm trying for Ancient Celt. (It doesn't look too difficult, plus I've already got some of the accessories -- or at least things that can be made to fake it as accessories. ;-)

So. On the theorized agenda for today:
- Groceries (at the Veggie Market, I think)
- Laundry
- Craft Store (buttons in lieu of brooches)
- Add a chicken-wire retaining "wall" around the compost heap
- Possibly planting the peas...

- Fabric Store...? (I'd like to find a nice burgundy-and-soemthing check for this costume, and maybe some teal broadcloth...).

So, really, I'd better get on that. :-)

- Nam'ara, all. :-)
- Amazon. :-)
