I am now the owner of a 2L plastic watering can, a pair of decent pruning sheers, and a short pitch-fork.
A fellow on the way home referred (sp) to me as "Canadian Gothic" because of the latter. I got quite a kick out of that. ;-)
In other news:
Charles de Lint's book & garage sale is happening on June 4th, from 9:30 - 1:30 (rain date June 5th), at 2071 Niagara Drive. (Off Kilbourn, between Bank and Alta Vista).
Like I need more books, but still. Whee! :-)
If the rain lightens up enough, I think I may go out and dig up some grass. And plant some corn and squash bean seeds. :-)
I'm so delighted. The sunflower seed I planted at Imbolg gave me a little potted sunflower by Spring Equinox, and gave me seeds at Beltaine. Hopefully I'll have lots of big, outdoor sunflowers by Lughnasadh. :-)
- Nam'ara,
- Amazon. :-)
