Last night's Fabulous Dinner included:
Pre-roasted chicken from the grocery store
Steamed broccoli
Steamed rice
Sparkling white wine (most of a bottle there-of, um...)
AND
Fully half of a chocolate-chantilly pannetone we picked up at the grocery store.
Om. Nom. Nom.
This evening, there will be chicken stir-fried with onion, mushrooms, cabbage, and probably the last of the wine. Or maybe not. We'll see.
I got absolutely no baking done yesterday (alas). Though we did sit down and talk - a little bit (in a very tipsy way) - about doing a Longest Night party like what they do in the Kushiel books. Cripes, that would be expensive... O.O
This afternoon will be shortbread (easy), editing and posting (zomg) Part Two of my xxxmas pr0n, and possibly baking Seanan_Mcguire's Winter Queen cookies (or at least my addaptation there-of).
