So, we went to the concert after all.

It was fun! Yay! :-D

We got their CD. (I like "Sun Shine on Me" and "Devilman").

Gothic Surf music. Who knew? ;-) (Now I have lovely images of poodle-style skirts done with little black velvet spiders in stud-collars sitting on silver spider-webs, with little silver ball chain leashes on them... Oh, what fun! :-)

Paul just cleaned the bathroom with "TSP", so we're waiting for that to dry before we start priming.

Whee! Spiffy new bathroom (ish) for us! :-D

My Mom is coming over in about an hour and a half to sign the contracts for Strathmere. And then we are past the point of "no return" venue-wise. :-)
(I dunno, maybe it's because I work at a "you can return anything, at any time" store, but the idea of being locked into one thing really creeps me out... I mean, what if we decide to elope? ;-)

In other wedding news (not mine, someone else's): Paul's best friend since grade five is getting married to a lovely Jewish girl (his parents are extatic, believe me), and we just found out (thank goodness) that they are getting married in Ottawa, rather than in Winipeg.

Thank goodness. We don't need to get plane tickets to Winipeg! Yes! :-D And they want all of their guests to design a square of their choupa. Cool, yes?

Oo! Ami, maybe you (or your fine husband) will know this:

Saturday, Sept. 3rd, (the new Moon in September) --> Is that Jewish New Year? (I'm pretty sure it's the first of the Jewish month, but I'm not sure what month that is, or if that's the beginning of the year).

Anywhoo. Apparently things are dry, now, so I'm going to grab some food (breakfast at 20 minutes to 1pm, hmm...) and then we start to tape.

Whee! :-)

- Nam'ara,
- Allison.
