So.

Apparently I'm required to wear a bra to work.

Which is funny, because there's nothing in the dress-code about this and, oh yeah, I'm flat as a board. It's not as if I jiggle.

<*grumble*>

So I'm peaved about that.

In other news: I now have my wall-paper. Goody. :-)

And, lastly (I think).:

I ran into Cossima on the bus today, and she asked me what kind of flowers grow in the shade (as she has a very shady yard). So, here is a short list of stuff that will be happy (or fairly happy) in the shade:

- Violas,
- Hostas,
- Lilly of the Valley
- Periwinkle
- Creaping Jenny, possibly aka "Seedum"
(-Probably Ground Ivy, aka Creeping Charley)
- Hardy Phlox can take sun or shade
- Peas in general, but particularly Perpetual Pea flowers (needs a trellis)
- Bleeding Hearts
- Mint of all kinds
- Forget-me-nots (which self-seed like crazy -- your yard could become a blue cloud after a few spring-times).
- Collumbines can take partial shade
- Day Lillies (at least, I've seen them grow fine right underneath a pine tree)
- Ostrich Ferns (and other ferns) -- they don't flower, but they look very lush and pretty.
- Virginia Creeper and Wild Grapes (these need a trellis)
- Possibly raspberries (mmm... raspberries -- although they may take over)
- Morning Glories can grow in the shade, too, although they don't grow very fast (they also need a trellis).
- Isis Flowers can take part-shade, but probably not full shade.

As far as I know, all of these are either perenials or self-seeding annuals.

And those are the plants I can think of off the top of my head. :-)

Time to get something cool to drink. (Whoo-boy...)

- Nam'ara,
- Amazon.
