I have business cards. :-)
I also have address labels (although, alas, without any goddess imagery on them -- I don't know how to do that yet... Perhaps I can come up with some sort of spiral-work border or something...)
But, I have address labels. I shall go and slap them onto the envilopes of our thank-you cards.
Whee! :-)
(Trust me -- when you've been writing them out by hand, in that tiny-cramped space, slap-on return-address labels actually do deserve a 'whee'. ;-)
In other (far more interesting) news, I was out exchanging my towels last night (now we have Ralph Loren and some other fancy-schmancy brand of towels, which are of much higher quality than the stuff I (foolishly) picked out for the registry -- even if the colours don't actually match the bathroom, they're close enough to do the trick. ;-)
But. Yes. Exchanged towels (and got more thank-you cards), and as I was heading to the bus, I heard a voice cry out (in the wilderness):
"Allison!"
I turned.
I saw.
It was Idioglosia!
Whee! :-D
I hardly *ever* get to see her, and there she was! In need of moral support while searching for something to wear to an up-coming uber-fancy wedding!
She has a fancy teal dress, and needed to get accessories that really, really popped.
So she got gold stuff.
It was a fun evening.
She's got a very cool hand-bag with gold-leaf jingle-beads all over it, and a matching silk wrap, and some very, very classy nude-gold high heels that look just marvelous. :-)
I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of this ensemble when it's all put together (she's still hunting jewellery, y'see).
But.
It was a very good time.
And we got to yack, which was also good. :-)
So.
Last night was a good time. :-)
Tonight will, I suspect, also be a good time, as I'm meeting JuniorCrone (and, in theory, our advisor... mmhmmmm...) to deal with thesis stuff (and drink cold drinks). :-D
In other news: I think 'Barbosa is Hungry' is, in fact, my favourite track on the Pirates I soundtrack. :-)
Anyway, I know you're all just *rivetted* by the details of this post, but label-land is calling me (and I need breakfast).
So, I'm off. :-)
- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)
