Anyway, after that little diversion:
I had a wee chat with my boss today.
It was nice.
Erin's a good boss. :-)
Anyway. What I talked about was this:
1) The hours I'm currently getting are not enough to cover our bills. Not quite. So:
2) Please throw me some more hours here and there. But:
3) How 'bout having me just work on Saturday for the next two weeks so that I can be available for temp-assignments during that time? :-)
And she said yes.
So, yay. :-)
When I got home, I called Maxsys and Office Team and left messages for Stephanie and Zarah. Here's hoping I get a phone call back from each of them tomorrow morning before work starts. :-) And, ideally, they will both say 'yeah, I think we can manage that' and actually mean it, and then actually come *through* for me on that. :-|
Question: For those of you who have been pregnant: What are the not-so-obvious early signs of pregnancy?
Cause I'm not:
Vomitting
Particularly tired
Cramping
Spotting
Noticing any racoon-like darkness around my eyes
And those are the only ones I know of.
However. I also haven't had a period since some time in early December. Which means I'm... a good week or two later than I was expecting.
So.
I'm a little anxious. (Not because of having a kid -- I want that -- but because of the financial mess we'll be in if this is the case. <*shudder*>
So... Anyone want to throw me some reassurance? :-)
