Well, I just submitted "Twist of Fate" to the Tom Howard/John H. Reid Short Story Contest.
If I make it into the top ten stories, I get published (on-line, non-exclusive rights). If I make it into the top seven, I get prize money, too. :-)
First prize = $1200.
