In addition to making brownies this morning, I have been hard at work framing pictures.
Yes! The big frames I got back on, like, Boxing Day? Are now filling up. Hurrah! :-)
I have mounted (sort of) my two Candy Lucas collages (one print and one original). The original, while I would have preferred to use, say, royal blue bristol board (which I don't have anymore), was mounted (or framed or padded, or whatever the proper term is for the cardboard frame that goes between the glass and the actual picture itself) using the sheet of cheapo card-board that came with the frame I used. The back is a sort of mottled pebble grey, so that is what I used. :-)
My print is mounted using a chopped up loblaws brown paper bag. Ra! And it actually doesn't took horrible. :-) So good. :-) That one is going in the bedroom, over the high-boy. :-)
I am currently hoping against hope that the wedding pictures I tweaked on Paul's computer (because I had to get them off the DVD) are successfully making it into my e-mail inbox. So far, they have not arrived. Blast. :-P
I think try burning them onto my Wedding CDrw, as that will probably work just as well, and will mean that I can take the photos off Paul's desktop. Won't that be nice. :-)
As it stands, I've got... nine? slots in my Huge Wedding Frame left to fill (two 8x10s, two 5x6s, two 3x3s, two 4x6s and one 4x4). Those will, I think, get printed out today while I'm getting some groceries. :-)
...
Five minutes later:
Okay, I *think* it burned. :-) <*checks*> Yes! Success! :-D
Off to burn the new pictures folder to my CD. :-)
- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)
