What The-- Snow???

That is a lot of fucking snow!!!

And while it's quite lovely, I'm not looking forward to trudging through the slush on the way to and from work.

Yurk.

I am not cool with this. It's also very windy, and I can't tell whether what's falling right now is more snow or rain (or freezing rain. urk).

So, yeah. Not thrilled with the weather situation at the moment.

My tulips should be fine, but I'm still at least a little bit concerned for their welfare, what with being completely burried in the 6"-8" of snow that fell between Midnight and 6am today. Good goggly moggly, as Hyel would say.
This is rediculous.

Gross Materialism OR A list of stuff I want:

- A bottle of 'O'.
- A karaoke (aka 'accompaniment') CD of romantic love songs from the 20s to the 40s (or maybe 50s) Or something of that ilk.
- A bunch of new books, mostly focusing on Gender theory in some way. (Fausto-Sterling, Le Guin, John Berger, The new Tedlock book about being a Shaman and a woman, Bitchfest, etc.)
- ***A job that will pay me $12+/hr, & that offers me 30 hours a week.*** (This will result in me making in three months about what I'm making in, say, almost (though not quite) a year at Cleo).


I also want:
- To make two CDs: One of Italian art song, and one of the above-mentioned 'crooner' type songs.
- To continue writing, for joy and, potentially (if I write something that fits, say, a contest's criteria), for attempts at profit.
- To get good, strong core muscles (both the dancing and the singing will help with that, I think). :-)
