Okay.

My hydro bill is getting scary.
It appears to be doubling every two months.

I mean, June-July and August-September were virtually nothing (~$50), because the heat wasn't on.

The one after that wasn't bad ($150), because the heat was only on for a month.

The last one (paid in early January) was nearly $400, which really surprised me. I was expecting it to be in the $250 - $300 range ($100/month for heat, plus usual non-heat charges)

This one, for January-February (62 days) is pushing $800. $770 and change, in fact.

What is going on here???

This is very upsetting, as the amount of heat and electricity we've used in the past two months hasn't been any different (that I know of) from what we used in the two months before that.

What gives???

This is very upsetting. >:-(

In other news: Paul and I had date-night last night. (He interupted working on a project that was still going nowhere, which he needed to have done for today, in order to have date-night with me. :-)

We had peach-khefir blueberry pancakes (with cornmeal and honey in them) for dinner. :-) They were *good*. :-)
And we watched "Big Fish". :-)
That's a good movie. :-)
Kinda sad, but quite magical. :-)
I recommend. :-)

Must return it (and "Bend it Like Bekham" -- which is fluffy and fun, and has some very good looking people starring in it. Yum.) to the video store today. Must also get eggs, and some other stuff. :-)
If it's nice out, I may hit the veggie-market as well. :-) We shall see. :-)

Currently reading: "Witching Culture" -- an anthro book about Neo-Paganism in the states. :-)

- Nam'ara,
- Amazon. :-)
