Squash Trellis Repairs -- Woohoo! :-D

So, today, Ami_B came over and helped me (immensely!) repair the squash trellis.

So. A BIG THANK YOU! to Ami for her skills with the bendy-metal-post-stuff (whatever it's called) and your tremendous strength, 'cause Gods know I couldn't lift that thing the way you did. :-)

The trellis, while no-longer seven feet at its apex, is actually traversable now. :-) You have to duck to get under it, but you *can* get under it! Yay! :-D And the squashes are off the ground again! Yay! :-D

We celebrated with Hawaian/Killalu Sunrises (Orange-Peach-Mango juice, with a splash of grenadine) and fruity-fruity popcicles.f (Raspberry/Blackberry and Mango/Peach -- Yay for del-monte fruit-pops being on sale at the A&P!)

Effectively, today has been faboo! :-D

Also, I've been writing fanfic with an original character thrown into the mix (who's getting a hell of a lot more air-play than Carmine ever did -- sorry, Carmine) and people seem to quite like her. Wow! :-D
This is so encouraging! :-D

Anywhoo. Off to do more reading/writing. :-)
