Happy Hallowe'en and/or Samhain, everyone! :-D
Tonight: The dead walk.
Today: I harvest my squash. :-)
Hm. Must ask my tenant to part in the visitor parking tonight, so's the kiddies can actually see One Eyed Jack. :-)
Perhaps I should make a "Here there be pirates" sign or something, to stick to the entrance of my (car-)port. :-)
Posted Part 32 of "Live Truly, My Heart" (finally!). That will - I suspect - be it for a while ... NaNo starts tomorrow, and I go diving into the wonderful, messed up brain of Kit Cox.
I'm thinking third-person (probably) limited, for this story. I know her dreams are going to be first-person singular, though. :-)
Other things to do:
Wrap and mail my sister's birthday present. :-)
Sort out the pumpkin seeds from the pumpkin guts and bake them. (This year I'm going to do my usual garlic-pepper-and-cayenne, but also try a cinnamon, ginger and sugar version as well).
Fill up my (tiny) treasure chest - all my pretty baubles are going to be one of my props when handing out goodies to the kiddies. :-)
(Randomly, I can find my lapis lazuli ring. This is bothering me more than a little).
Attach a stick of myrrh incense to One Eyed Jack
Tidy the front hall and string up the tattered sails and seaweed (or similar... Hm... perhaps I should get some green garbage bags for said seaweed... Hm...)
Anywhoo, lots to do.
- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-D
