I have returned from the wilds of New Brunswick.
And I thought Ottawa was soggy.

It rained pretty much the entire time (except for the rare occasions when it was mearly misty and foggy, and the one day when it snowed. Yes, really).

I got to go back to the town I was born in -- I lived in farmland for the first five years of my life, and I didn't realize this until *now*. What the hell? It does explain why we had such a freaking huge garden, however. :-)

My brother's grad was good. And short! :-D

I ate mussels and lobster (and icecream) on PEI - the mussels, alas, made me sick. But I was over it in about four hours, so that was okay. :-)

My gods, I've got remarkably little to report.

I can definitely say that I missed my husband a lot, and am glad to be back home (with my own bed, my own matress, and my fella to keep me warm, rather than a heap of extra blankets).
Random: He has, I feel I should point out, the softest skin in the world. :-D (Whee! I'm home!) :-D

Sackville - the town where I was born - is a very pretty little town, with a university, a wetlands wildlife sanctuary (with a boardwalk - very pretty, even in the drizzle), a theatre called 'Live Bate', a concert hall, a lot of farm land, a town/gown split, at least three churches (not counting the university chapel), and a lot of hills. Also some very nice indipendent cafes. Yay! :-)
My mom has suggested that I write a script for a tv-show set in a fictional version of Sackville. It might be fun.
I might stand a better chance of writing stories about such a place though, and getting my actress sister to turn them into scripts. :-)

Something to play around with, at any rate. :-)

Anywhoo. I've got something else (or multiple something-elses) to work on before I start playing around with that. :-)

- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)
