amazon_syren Nov. 6th, 2007 05:45 pm)Word count is (finally) up over 9000! Hurrah! Another 800 words (and that I can do, even if I go to bed at eight) and I'll be on-target. Any more than that and I'll (at long last) be ahead of the game!

I think the trick may be to just go "what do I feel like writing about today?" And basically fanfic my own characters until I have a complete story-arc worth of, like, 500 drabbles, or something. :-)
Anyway. At the moment, a 22-year-old Kit is drowning her sorrows over her husband's terminal illness, by getting drunk with her best friend out on the balcony of the abandoned house she (and, like 20-30 other people) are living in at the moment.
I don't think this counts as a pattern, yet, having only done Nano twice (including this one), but... Y'know how other people include pirates and/or ninjas in their stories to fill in word-count?
Well... apparently I use freegans.
Don't know how that one turned up.
But there you go. :-)
Mom is coming over in... nine minutes, or so, to drop of my recovered-for-my-birthday dining room chairs, and to pick up the other two from the set. :-) So I gotta go. :-)
[EDIT: The chairs are loverly. Woohoo! :-)
Additionally, built your vocabulary and feed the hungry at the same time, with this. Go have fun. :-D ]
