So there's a little nature trail down the street from me, just past Archer when heading for Riverside from Huntclub.
I walked it today. It follows the little creek all the way to riverside drive.
The path is not maintained, the pavement is cracked like crazy, and mostly covered over decaying leaves and needles and stuff. Which is fine and dandy for walking. Not so good if one were to try and bike it. Not that I have a bike to try it with.
It's quite lovely, and I saw ducks! :-D
Sadly, I haven't found The South Ottawa Bike Path, but I'll figure it out eventually. :-) (I suspect the one I see from the train links up with the Old Ottawa South trail that stars at, like, Dows Lake, and "ends" at Mooney's Bay.
We shall see. :-)
Bike paths, even when not on a bike, make me happy. They are much prettier than busy streets and, conveniently, I don't have to share the road with cars. Yay! Lack of cars! :-)
Off to watch "Million Dollar Baby" with The Husband now. :-)
