I am, for some reason, feeling mightily annoyed.

It is probably (I suspect) because I'm hungry. (I'm a bit like a toddler that way, I guess).

I picked up a new pair of sandals today (Ecco's again - about $30 less expensive (though still quite expensive) than the last pair I got, something like five years ago). So I can now walk and let my feet breathe and not wear socks. Hurrah! :-D

I did *not* get to the C.U. library. That will wait until Sunday, before I go to that poetry thing at the Chapters.

I got an unfortunate note in my e-mail today. Amazon.ca is having trouble (oh, for goodness sake) finding Kathryn Payne's book for me.
Much to my disappointment.
They are going to keep looking.
Leah Samharasinha's book, and my two Eurythmics CDs are now going to arrive some time in bloody May. Specifically late May, the assholes. I want my goddamn stuff! :-P
Hopefully it'll all arrive significantly earlier than they're suggesting. :-P

I checked ABEbooks to see if anyone had Longing..., and one person has it. But he has a really lousy rating and (apparently) only ships within the states, anyway. :-P

One person (in Canada, with a good rating) had it on Alibris, though, so I ordered it there and canceled the amazon.ca one.
My book should arrive by May 4th (thank goodness). :-)

In other news:
Got cat-called (sort of) on Scott Street today.
Some spiky-haired blond kid who, were I to give him the benefit of the doubt, might have been about twenty-one. If that. :-)
It was cute. :-) (And remarkably non-threatening. Always a good sign. :-)
