Granola Girl Bake Sale (fundraiser) at Umi Cafe (Somerset W. at Percy) -- 10am-4pm, Saturday Sept. 13th (that's my moving day!). Items are $1-$5, vegan, mostly organic and there are gluten-free options. :-D
Ladyfest Ottawa Workshops at the Jack Purcell Community Center, Sept. 20th, 2008.
September 25th, 2008: Take Back the Night march. 6:30pm -- gather at the women's monument in Minto Park on Elgin @ Gilmour. March starts at 7pm. Information fair to follow. :-)
Radical Dragopening party at Club SAW, Oct. 2nd, 2008.
Le Petit Mort gallery (306 Cumberland), Art Sale (GG fundraiser #2) -- door charge = $10. Saturday, October 4th. 7pm-10pm.
Mercury Lounge (56 Byward Market St) Poetry Concert (ft. edgy performances, though I don't know what that means in this context). 7pm-10pm. Cover = No Idea.
Granola Girl Gala Dinner: Centurion Center (170 Collonade Rd), Friday November 15th, 2008. Four-course Vegan Meal + Entertainment (along the lines of fire eaters and contortionists, among other fantastical creatures). Price = Again, no idea (I'm getting this off a poster -- But she's an awesome chef. That plus four courses, plus the entertainment... I'd guess minimum $25, but it could easily be more than that).
