Last night:
Made (well, started -- finished this morning) a bracelet for Sara (green aventurine chips -- sadly, I get the feeling she's not much of a bracelet girl. Earrings, however, seem to be something of a strong-suit for her, so perhaps I can try that next)
Made (finally) that cornbread I'd been meaning to make (it is tastey. A bit on the salty side, for reasons unknown, but otherwise pretty good. Yay Fruit!)
Brought Sara a bag of produce (and some of the above-mentioned cornbread), and then we went to the Lesbian Information Exchange night at Swizzles.
It was... Okay. Better luck next time, perhaps, but a lot of flyers for the art show (that being Saturday -- tomorrow -- night, 7pm-10pm at La Petite Mort gallery on Cumberland, cover being $10-$20 as a sliding scale, come out and eat some vegan food and enjoy some mad performanced) and she made a few contacts with local artists.
So this is good.
Next month, she'll probably get to give a schpiel about the Granoal Girl Cafe but, for now, this'll do.

She's started smoking.
I hope to hell she isn't doing it very often. :-\
We had a talk. It was a good one, I think. About presenting idealized versions of oneself to people and how you can only do that for so long.
This is why she's smoking in front of me now, basically.
So, on the one hand, I'm glad that she's willing to show that part of herself to me.
On the other hand. Gah! Smoking! Bad for her! Addictive! Ack!!!
And so on.
Anyway. Job interview/meet-and-greet in 45 minutes. Gotta go. :-)
