So, I haven't heard back from any of my agencies regarding whether or not I have any of the contracts my name's been put in for.

This is very irritating.

And it's *most* irritating because...

Because I hate it here, but my options are (A) take the extension here, and keep working on the ass-end of the #3 for a bunch of uncommunicative idiots, but continue to earn a paycheque every week, thus securing groceries, rent and the rest of it, OR (B) DON'T take the extension here, thus jumping off into the unknown (you know how much I hate to do that) of FINANCIAL UNCERTAINTY wherein I have no idea if I'm ever going to work again going to have a job on Monday because I've gone and turned this one down.


Obviously, the safe-but-really-unpleansant option is (A) and the stupid-and-dangerous (and potentially equally unpleasant for different reasons) option is (B).

I don't want to take Option B. I don't want to take Option A.

I want to take Option C, wherein all of my agencies call me in the next ten to twenty minutes and tell me "Congratulations, you've totally got Job X!" and I go "YAY! I choose This One", and proceed to go to work somewhere else on Monday morning. Ideally somewhere vaguely close to my neighbourhood. :-)
