Today I went to fabric land.
I have 4m or so of blue broad-cloth (a darker shade, alas, than the original broadcloth, but I can alternate or something) and 3m of black fringy trim. These will become my costume.
My back will be killing me by sundown on Sunday.
BUT before I sew the costume, I must finish my dress for tomorrow night. As such: I shall go to Umi and read my poetry, but I will bring my sewing project with me and I will sew while I wait for the reading to begin. :-)
Tomorrow is Sara's fabulous poetry concert. :-) Thense the dress-making. I hope you all will come out to hear her and the rest of the Amazing Poets read. :-)
