Hallo, folks,
So I got back from Ithaca, NY, earlier today.
I have written all of one paragraph (and not a very long one) of my nano novel. We'll see what, if anything, happens with this.
However, I'm posting because my aunty has been out Organizing for Obama -- basically going to the nearby swing-states and knocking on doors to make sure people -- and by people we mean democrat-voter or potentially democrat-voters -- get their asses out on Tuesday (it's Tuesday, right?) and actually vote. And check the damn machines to make sure that the person they voted for is actually the person who gets registered as having been voted for. Stuff like that.
With that in mind:
I know that everyone living down south who *can* vote (and is reading this), *will* vote.
If you'd like to do any of the following, feel free:
- Harrass your friends, relatives, etc. to make sure they get out to the polls.
- Suggest that your grandparents might want to vote for the younger of those two party-candidates.
- Offer rides to elderly republicans and take them to a polling station on the wrong side of town.

In other news: They are very excited about my having such a marvelous young lady in my life. :-) (It was quite cute -- they waited until we were alone to say anything, at which point what they said included "Does your mom know about Sara? We weren't sure how discreet we'd have to be." I assured her that Mom knew, though the two of them hadn't been introduced. Life is pretty good. :-)
Anyway. I've got a photoshoot tomorrow at 5:30pm. I need to take the polish off my toenails, wash my hair so it can dry straight, and either (A) not wear makeup (easier) or (B) pack makeup remover, for tomorrow.
Miz Sara is (YAY!) coming over tomorrow evening, at 7:30. It will be really nice to see her again. :-) Hopefully she will have some good news on the room-mate-search front. :-)
Inconveniently: I think I'm coming down with something. Bugger, bugger and blast. :-P
