So it's not quite 8am.

Part of me is going "YAY! Busses Coming Back!" (Believe me, there was dancing at the Rochester Residence last night when we got the news!)

Part of me is going: Don't get bus-pass! Get a few tickets and deal with the hour-long walk. It's no different from the hour-long commutes you've had before and this will keep you in shape, and winter's only got a couple of months left on it and it'll tire out relatively quickly. This will save you $75/month as long as you only use bus-tickets to get you to therapy in a timely manner after work - if that. If you time it right, you could even use the same transfer to get home afterwards! Or, y'know, you could walk. That'd work, too. It's not like you haven't done it before. Just don't spend money you don't need to spend!

Miz Sara called me at around Midnight to let me know that she'd got into Toronto (despite driving through a crazy snow storm the entire way) and had a hostel room booked for the night.

She hasn't called yet to tell me how Goodhandy's went. I figure, if I give her a call around noon, she should be up and about and I can check-in with her again. :-)

I am blessed with a plethora of distractions this weekend, which is good.
Last night was dinner at the Rochester House, and tonight is reading at Umi - and probably a lot of picture-editing, too, if I can pick up the rest of my shots from that guy. (There may actually be some that are salvageable! YAY!)

Tomorrow afternoon, I believe I am heading out to McWetBoy and Fritzkat's place for an evening a general socialization and possible mayhem.

And then, on Sunday, if all is still going according to plan, I will be dropped off chez moi in the early afternoon and then make my way over to Arndis and Tchang's place for the Triple Birthday Party.
Which should, itself, be fun. :-) I will have to attempt to make more cookies. And, ideally, not burn them this time!

And then I start work on Monday.
I get up at 6am for the first time in two months. Oh, gods... At least I've got buckets of vegetable pie (tofu quiche-esque?) to bring for lunches. that makes things easier.
The working, itself, should keep me from going stir-crazy without my girl - two hours of walking per day, plus 8 hours of doing stuff in an office... That should do it.

I *think* Seanchaidh is still coming over on Monday nights. (At least this week).

Next weekend, I *think*, is the photoshoot with Idioglossia. (If she would like to weigh in and let me know about that, this would be good).
Next weekend is *also* the Slasher's brunch at the Yang Sheng. However, depending on the day of the photoshoot, I may or may not end up skipping this month. (Blast!). I've also got Commodorified's port party on Saturday night.

And then my Baby's back in Ottawa, the following Friday. And there will be a trip to Chelsea and a weekend of general mayhem and lots of other good things. :-)
(And, yeah, probably a lot of exhaustion and fuzzy-headedness, and definitely a lot of just getting through the four days of her come-down, BUT I'll still have her with me, and that will be a very good thing).

And that's about as far ahead as I'm up for thinking right now. ;-)
