Shiftercat lent me "The Secret of Roan Innish", a movie about Irish Selkies and a fisher family who have a little bit of fairy blood in them, to watch over the weekend. :-)
It was good. The music is quite lovely and the whole thing is just... charming. :-)
In other news: My computer crashed last week. This is why there is no Monochrome Beast yet. I'm working on it. (Aiming for Wednesday -- That should work. If I can get it out sooner, I will).
In still other news: My squash is coming up, and so are my miniagture pumpkins. :-) Score! :-) And my garlic and peppers are looking good, even healthy. :-) They should all enjoy the rain today. :-)

Mayhap I should haul out one of those "teach yourself Gaelic" books, or something. It's a neat-sounding language. :-)
